  REHRERSBURG Janel D. Keeney, 25, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Reading 
  Hospital & Medical Center in West Reading. Born in Lebanon, on June 2, 1985, 
  she was the daughter of David N. and Charlene D. (Smeal) Keeney. She was a 
  member of Little Swatara Church of the Brethren in Bethel. She graduated from 
  Tulpehocken High School in 2003 and from the Berks Technical Institute in 2005. 
  She was last working at AWI in Robesonia as a graphic designer. She loved 
  exercising, was in a pool league, all things to do with art to include drawing 
  and painting and recently took up crocheting, and she especially loved her dog, 
  Roxy. In addition to her parents she is survived by her maternal grandparents, 
  Doyle D. and Martha J. Smeal; her paternal grandmother, Ruth E. Keeney; a 
  sister, Ariana L. Keeney; a brother, Harold L. Keeney; six uncles; and several 
  cousins. A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 
  9, at Little Swatara Church of the Brethren, Rehrersburg, with her Uncle, the 
  Rev. Del Keeney and her pastor, the Rev. Robert W. Krouse officiating. 
  Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, at the 
  church. Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg, is in charge of arrangements.
