Keller, 88, died on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Lebanon Valley Home. He was the husband of the late Erma Jane Buffamoyer Keller. He was born on Saturday, April 22, 1922, to Henry A. Keller and Katie Keller (nee Rump) in Lebanon. He was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church. Lester was a Buck Corporal having served under Gen. Patton in the E.T.O. with the 13th Armoured Division called the "Black Cats." He was a retired salesman from the former Miller Bros. Lumber Co., Lebanon. He was a member of the Audobon- Parkside Lodge #218 F&AM, Audobon, New Jersey. He was a past treasurer of the Quittapahilla Forest #25, Lebanon; past president of Quittie Woods, Inc, Lebanon; member of Weidle Royal Arch Chapter #197; Lebanon Council #27; Hermit Commandery #24; Traveler's Protective Association Post E; and the Annville American Legion. He was charter member and founder of the Metropolitan Motoring Club of Lebanon; member of the Hershey Region Antique Auto Club of America. He was a 1940 graduate of Lebanon High School and a graduate of the Lebanon Business College. Surviving are sons, Leslie T. spouse of Elizabeth Keller, Annville, David A. spouse of Beverly Keller, Jonestown; daughter, Patricia spouse of Emanuel Shedlock, Lebanon; grandchildren, David Keller, Wesley Keller, Tricia Keller, Katie Keller; and a brother, Robert Keller. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Lloyd Keller, Homer Keller, Paul Keller, Mark Keller, Charles Keller; sisters Mildred Maulfair, Betty Sprecher, Miriam Birch. Memorial services will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church 119 N. 8th St., Lebanon. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
