  Loretta R. Kirchner 
    
  MYERSTOWN Loretta R. Kirchner, 85, died Sunday, January 23, 2011, at the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Frank R. Kirchner, to whom she 
  would have been married 65 years on September 7. Born in Lebanon, on April 9, 
  1925, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Magdelena (Eyanson) Troy. She 
  was a 1943 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School and had been employed at 
  Sterling Drug Co., Myerstown for 10 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member 
  of Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown and enjoyed crocheting, 
  gardening and traveling. The light of her life was her grandchildren and great 
  grandchildren and at every opportunity, she delighted in holding one of them. 
  She will be missed by all. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 
  daughters, Loretta Gutshall of Myerstown and Barbara wife of Rick Seifert of 
  Myerstown; sons, Frank E. Kirchner of Manheim, PA and David Kirchner of 
  Myerstown; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six step great-
  grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Frank C. Kirchner in 
  1990 and was the last of her immediate family. Mass of Christian Burial will be 
  held Thursday at 11 a.m. from Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown. 
  Viewing Thursday at 10 a.m. at the church. Recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 
  a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lebanon.  Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown 
  has been entrusted with the arrangements.
