Herr Kiscadden, 84, passed away in the loving arms of her husband and he gave her to the angels to take home on Monday, July 11, 2011, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born in Annville on September 11, 1926, a daughter of the late Charles and Annie Kohr Herr. Evelyn was married to Robert E. Kiscadden in Salem E.U.B. church on July 31, 1948. Mrs. Kiscadden was a wonderful homemaker taking care of her family. She loved to travel throughout the United States and Europe. She enjoyed word games, reading and old movies. She loved to be with her family especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a charter member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Lebanon. Surviving are her husband; daughters, Linda L., wife of Robert Progin of Mechanicsburg and Diana L. Hromco of Lebanon; grandchildren, Kimberly L., wife of Craig Minetola of Hanover; Robert A. Progin, husband of Beth of Manheim; Jeffrey E. Progin, husband of Carli of Dover and Christopher J. Hromco, husband of Tonya of Grantville; great-grandchildren, Austin, Aryana, Elizabeth, Gavin, Aeden and Isabella; sister: Betty Witmer of Palmyra; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. A viewing will be held on Friday in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc., 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc., with her pastor, Rev. Alan Smith, officiating. A viewing will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Grand View Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Evelyn's memory to Good Samaritan Hospice.
