Klett SANDY SPRING, MD Anna Kathryn Klett, 92, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday, December 17, 2011, at the Brooke Grove Retirement Village, Sandy Spring, Md. She was the wife of Karl K. Klett, who died on May 19, 1998. Born in Lebanon, on August 7, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Jacob O. and Ida (Groh) Lentz. A 1936 graduate of Lebanon High School, she earned a degree in elementary education at West Chester University. She was employed as a teacher in the Lebanon School District at Stevens Elementary for many years and later worked as a substitute teacher until 1981. A member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lebanon, she was a summer resident of Mt. Gretna, a member of the Lebanon Country Club, a 50 year life member of the Order of the Eastern Star Lebanon Chpt. 115, and a member of the Woman's Club of Lebanon. She is survived by a son, Karl K. Jr. husband of Trini Klett of Silver Spring, Md.; sister, Arlene R. Lentz of Wyomissing; grand-daughters Kathryn and Laura Klett, both of Silver Spring, Md.; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Fauber, and brothers Henry and Mark Lentz. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lebanon. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is entrusted with the arrangements.
