"Yogi" Klinger, 84, formerly of Maple Lane, Lebanon, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in Manor Care. He was the husband of the late Fay B. Rhoads Klinger. He was born January 22, 1927, in Tower City, a son of the late Charles W. and Edna M. Forman Klinger. Dean was a retired truck driver for New Penn of Lebanon and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Annville American Legion, Maennerchor Club and enjoyed golfing and hunting. He is survived by a daughter, Amy Jo wife of Chuck Hansell of Lebanon; son, Richard C. husband of Michele Klinger of Lebanon; grandsons, Jonathon Klinger, Dean M. Klinger, Jason M. Hansell, Christopher D. Hansell, Charles B. Hansell and Adam B. Hansell, all of Lebanon; David S. Klinger of Palmyra; Nathan C. Hansell of Akron; step grandchildren, Samantha Boyer and Ricki Boyer both of Lebanon; five great grandchildren; sister, Carol wife of Henry Brandt of Annville. He was preceded in death by a son, Dean E. Klinger. Funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Rohland Funeral Home, Inc. of Lebanon is handling his arrangements.
