Lehman Knerr, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 3, 2011 in Harrisburg, with her loving family by her side. She was born October 13, 1945 in Hershey, daughter of Charlotte G. Lehman and the late Donald W. Lehman and was married to G. Russell Knerr, Jr. for 16 years. Bobbi was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School, retired from AMP, Inc., an avid golfer and tennis player, was active in community activities and charities in both Pennsylvania and Florida, and loved to laugh and entertain. Bobbi was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met and will be deeply missed. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by a daughter, Loni and her husband Joe Ritchie of Harrisburg; son, Vince Picconi and his wife Carla of Orlando, Fla.; Russ's daughter, Ginny Mayfield of Fort Worth, Texas; his daughter-in-law, Lynn Knerr of Del Mar, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Kevin and Kamren Smith, Joey and Jake Ritchie, Hailey and Emily Picconi, John Mayfield and Katie Knerr; great-granddaughter, Charlie; siblings, Denny Lehman of Harrisburg, Dough Lehman of Derby, Kan., Dori Lehman of Leesburg, Va., and Lori Toia of Harrisburg; many nieces and nephews and their two dogs, Rusty and Lexi. She was predeceased by her father, Donald and by Russ Knerr III. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 610 W. Chocolate Ave., Hershey, 17033. Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association. Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, is in charge of arrangements.
