She was born on January 13, 1930, to Ezra and Stella Boger. Grace was a member of Hill United Church of Christ. Grace, along with her recently deceased husband, Carrol, enjoyed wintering in Florida for the past 15 years, a respite from the snows of Pennsylvania. Grace was a self-employed beautician and subsequently worked at the Hershey Chocolate, from where she retired after 20 years. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, and reading. She nurtured her flower and rose garden, especially proud of her daffodils and roses. She enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball and football. Grace was an avid fan of the Phillies - whether the games were on TV or just the radio, she tuned in. Friends and family alike were always amazed at her recall of facts and figures and game events. She looked forward to and attended reunions of her family, Carrol's family, Hill Church, and of the 6th Avenue neighborhood. Her home cooked meals were the delight of her family - and always served on time. Recently, Carrol observed to granddaughter Janell, that a day at the slots brought out Grace's spunk. The last full day that Grace and Carrol spent together was on October 28, 2011, at Penn National with friends, playing the slots, followed by watching the final game of the World Series. Her husband, Carrol, passed away in his sleep early on October 29, 2011. The 60th anniversary of their wedding was November 17, 2011. She is survived by sister Emma Phillips, and brother, Paul Boger. She is survived by son, Dane and his wife Elaine of Leonardtown, MD, daughter, Joan Putt and husband Jere of Lebanon, and son, Steve, of Lebanon.
