Kreiser peacefully went to live with his Lord on Friday, September 30, 2011, at the Hershey Medical Center surrounded by family members. Born in Dauphin County July 19, 1930, to the late Harry and Erma Seibert Kreiser, he graduated in 1948 from Hershey High School and in 1958 from Bowman's School of Horology, Lancaster. After working as a mechanist and die-cutter, he entered the military service in 1952 serving in the Army in the Korean War, and was medically retired from the service after spending a year in Walter Reed Hospital. After learning the trade as a horologist he continued in the field for 57 years. At intervals, he also worked at Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, and at the Hershey Museum from which he retired after 25 years as Preparator. He was skilled in woodworking and metal works among many other hobbies. Wilbur was a member of Lebanon Valley Bible Church, and earlier of the Spring Creek Church of the Brethren in Hershey, being very active in many positions. He is survived by loving wife of 52 years, Rena Faye Kline; daughter, Diane Zorn and husband, John; and sons, Daniel W. and David W. and wife, Nancy; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild. Also survived by three brothers and two sisters, Donald and wife Gladys, Robert and wife Harriet, James, Mary Snyder and husband John, Shirley Lightner and husband Edgar, and one sister Nancy Shenk (deceased) and husband, Marlin; numerous nieces and nephews. Wilbur's easy going manner and generous nature made him a friend to all he met. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Private family viewing will be held Thursday night f rom 7 to 9 p.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, 17078. Open viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday followed by services at 11 a.m. at. Lebanon Valley Bible Church, 1482 Horseshoe Pike, Lebanon. Burial immediately after the service at Chiques Church of the Brethren, Mastersonville.
