  LEBANON Elizabeth M. "Betty" Kutz, formerly of 21 Pine Ave., Lebanon, died 
  Monday, July 11, 2011 at Manor-Care Health Services, Lebanon, due to 
  Alzheimer's Disease. She was the wife of Isador Koplentz who died in 1996 and 
  Jim Kutz who died in 1998. Born in Myerstown on November 12, 1926, she was the 
  daughter of the late David and Sallie Merkey Dechert. Betty graduated from 
  Myerstown High School and the Bryland Beauty School in Reading. She was the 
  owner of Betty's Beauty Shop in Lebanon. Betty was a member of the Lebanon 
  Church of the Brethren and the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 115, 
  Lebanon. She was a former secretary for the Hairdresser's Association in 
  Lebanon. Surviving is a daughter, Linda L. wife of Peter Heisey of Annville; a 
  step-daughter, Rita wife of Tom Renaud of Pensacola, Fla.; three sisters, 
  Mabel Swanger of Breinigsville, Helen Danko, of Schnecksville, and Mildred 
  Bortz of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Lori wife of Steven Wampler of Lebanon, 
  Lanny husband of Martena Nies of Mobile, Ala., and Jennifer Miller of 
  Annville; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a step-
  brother, Ralph Deckert; and a sister, Kathryn Krill. Funeral services will be 
  held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. 
  Main St., Annville. Interment will be held in Grand View Memorial Park. 
  Viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Eastern Star 
  Services will be held Thursday at 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Contributions 
  may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, 
  Harrisburg, PA 17110 or Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, 333 N. Summit St., 
  Toledo, OH 43699 in her memory.
