M shabodeho@aol.com June 27, 2011, 1:33 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on June 22, 2011 Claude Lehman Jr. ANNVILLE Claude Lehman, Jr., 86, formerly of Hummelstown, died Thursday, June 16, 2011, in the Countryside Christian Community, Annville. He was born November 24, 1924, in Campbelltown, the oldest of nine children of the late Claude, Sr. and Fannie (Uhrich) Lehman. Mr. Lehman was a former co-owner of Hess Trucking in Hershey and a former toll collector for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commision. He was Protestant by faith and a member of the Mohler Senior Citizens Center in Hershey, the Middletown Moose, and the Hershey V.F.W. He was also a volunteer for the Derry Township People Mover. Surviving are three brothers, Bruce Lehman of Raystown Lake, Jay Lehman of Mesa, Ariz., and Lee Lehman of Annville; two sisters, Janet Weibley of Palmyra and Sara Ann Gingrich of Palmyra; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet (Kluck) Lehman; and four siblings. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route #422 and Lucy Ave.., Hershey. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Broad View Cemetery in Hershey at the convenience of the family.
