Lemke LEBANON Edna Arlene Lemke (Grammy), died Sunday Morning, September 18 ,2011 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She was the wife of Lloyd L. Lemke, who died on July 3, 2004. Edna was born on July 7, 1932, in Myerstown, the daughter of the late Henry and Edna Heisey. Edna Lemke was a homemaker and had a love for children. She contributed to raising over 60 children by providing childcare in her home. She was commonly known to her "kids" as Gram or Grammy. For more than 50 years, Edna was a member of The Bunker Hill Evangelical Congregational Church where she also served as a sexton. Edna is survived by her two sons and respective families: Craig Lemke, his wife Ranae; daughter, Stephanie Heckathorn son-in-law, Paul and three children, Ryan Carson and Tyler; John Lemke, his wife, Ann, and son Douglas. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011. A viewing will occur at 10 a.m. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. at the Bunker Hill Church. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
