  MYERSTOWN Norma M. Long, 81, died Saturday, July 30, 2011, at the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of John B. Long who died June 2, 
  2001. Born in Myerstown on May 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Paul 
  and Verna (Weiand) Wolfe. She was a graduate of Myerstown High School and had 
  been a secretary at the former Publix Shirt Co., Myerstown before becoming a 
  secretary for 10 years at Keath Automotive, Lebanon. She also did baby-sitting 
  in her home for many years. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, 
  Myerstown where she had been a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was 
  active with the Fresh Air Fund for many years and was well known for her 
  inspirational writings. She enjoyed flower gardening and home decorating. She 
  is survived by a son, Jeffrey C. Long of Myerstown; a daughter thru the Fresh 
  Air Fund, Lisa wife of Steven Omeis of Massapequa, N.Y., and their children 
  Kelsey and Steven Omeis; sisters, Gloria Sholly, Carmelita Long and Nira Wolf, 
  all of Lebanon; brothers, Garry Wolfe of Lebanon and Richard husband of Grace 
  Wolfe of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 
  Thursday at 11 a.m. from Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown. Relatives and 
  friends may call Thursday at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment at Grand View 
  Memorial Park, Annville.  Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown has been entrusted 
  with the arrangements.
