  John "Jack" Lucas 
   
  HERSHEY Colonel (Ret.) John "Jack" Lucas, 72, formerly of Williamstown, 
  received his final Permanent Change of Station Orders from the Lord on Sunday, 
  June 26, 2011. He passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. 
  He was born March 13, 1939, a son of the late John and Ursula (Hirsch) Lucas. 
  He spent the majority of his life wearing the Army uniform working for the PA 
  Army National Guard and later as an army civilian at Ft. Indiantown Gap and the 
  New Cumberland Army Depot. Jack was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic 
  Church, Hershey; the Williamstown American Legion Post #239; and spent many 
  years on the executive staff for the Fort Indiantown Gap Fish and Game 
  Conservation Club. Surviving are his wife, Doris (Nagle); three sons, Stephen 
  of Harrisburg, Scott, and wife Theresa of Hershey, and Craig, and wife Sonja of 
  Georgia; two daughters, Sueann, and husband Wally Bruce of Palmyra, and 
  Christine Lucas of Hershey; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Josephine Mehalko of 
  New Cumberland; and three brothers, Donald of Colorado, Gary of Washington 
  State, and David of Arizona. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on 
  Wednesday at 11:3 a.m. in his church at 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey. Visitation 
  will be held Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Hoover Funeral Home & 
  Crematory, Inc., Hershey. Interment with honors will be in the Indiantown Gap 
  National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be 
  made to Pinnacle Health Hospice.
