  Howard A. Ludwig 
   
  JONESTOWN Howard A. "Buck" Ludwig, 79, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, 
  at the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Emma B. Hitz 
  Ludwig, and on September 21st, they would have celebrated their 42nd wedding 
  anniversary. Born in Jonestown, on May 12, 1932, he was the son of the late 
  Clinton L. and Alverda Ely Ludwig. He retired from Lebanon Building Supply in 
  Lebanon and he previously had worked for the former E. H. Gerhart Co., in 
  Jonestown. He had attended the Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jonestown, 
  was a member of the American Legion Home Assoc., and the Jonestown Perseverance 
  Social Club. He was a 1950 graduate of the former Jonestown High School and he 
  especially enjoyed bowling. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a 
  brother, William F. Ludwig of Jonestown; and sisters, Evelyn I. Nies of 
  Lebanon, Arlene G. Keller of Simpsonville, S.C., Dorothy A. Gerhart of 
  Millsboro, Del., and Phyllis L. Miller of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by 
  a brother, Elvin C. Ludwig; and sisters, Ida Ludwig, Helen N. Croesus and 
  Miriam M. Moudy. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at 11 
  a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., 
  Jonestown. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at 
  the Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Jonestown.
