Born in Coatesville, on May 13, 1927. Michael was the son of the late Timothy and Cecilia (Fiala) Marko. Michael served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Jonestown American Legion, Mt. Zion Community Fire Co., Lincoln Republican Club, Friendship Fire Co. and Jonestown Memorial Home Association. He enjoyed horse racing and squirrels. He is survived by two sons, Frank M. Marko of Fredericksburg and Michael D. Marko, many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Massar of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be Friday 10 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, 17042. Viewing Friday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Saturday morning 9 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors.
