  LEBANON Darlene D. Marks, 65, died Sunday, December 18, 2011, at home with 
  family after a year-long battle with cancer. She was born in Lebanon on 
  November 18, 1946, a daughter of Lester F. Rittle, Lewes, Del., and the late 
  Daisy E. Thome Rittle. She was the owner and operator of the Darlene Marks 
  Beauty Salon in Lebanon for over 40 years. She was well loved and respected 
  and leaves behind a large number of clients and friends. She was an active 
  member of the Unity Church in Palmyra where she very much enjoyed all members 
  and their families along with the activities and functions of the community 
  surrounding the church. In January of 2011 she vacationed on a cruise with 
  five of her very best friends. In addition to her father, she is survived by a 
  step-mother, Marilyn Rittle; sons, Dana and wife Jannell Hollinger, Lebanon; 
  Craig Hollinger, Va.; J. Kyle Marks, Lebanon; granddaughters, Leah, Jenna, 
  Aislyn and Autumn; sister, Leslee wife of Thomas Showers, Del.; niece, Kerri 
  wife of Mannon Harmon, Del.; nephew, Korey and wife Jennifer Showers, Del.; 
  five great-nieces and nephews; step-brothers, Robert L. Thomas; J. Cameron 
  Thomas; step-sister, Gaye Salem and their families. There will be a viewing on 
  Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., 
  Lebanon, PA 17042. Memorial services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Unity 
  Church, 37 E. Main St., Palmyra, PA 17078, with burial to follow in Grand View 
  Memorial Park.
