  Robert A. Martin Jr. 
  
  HERSHEY Robert A. Martin, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, in the 
  Hershey Medical Center. Born at Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., on January 29, 1943, he 
  was the son of Robert A. Martin, Sr. and Margaret Barr Martin. He was preceded 
  in death by his father, mother, and brother, William A. Martin. Surviving are 
  his wife, Yvonne (Coffman) Martin; stepdaughter, Susan Laura Quick and husband, 
  Maarten Boeykens; son, Jeremy and his wife, Megan, and grandson, Merrick J. 
  Duff. He was a graduate of Carlisle High School, class of 1961, Dickinson 
  College, class of 1965, and the University of Pittsburgh with a doctorate 
  degree in analytical chemistry. He retired with 30 years of service from 
  Hershey Foods as a senior consultant in Technical Center Analytical Department. 
  While employed, he was active member in the American Organization of Analytical 
  Chemists and the Pennsylvania Manufacturers and Confectioners Association. Bob 
  was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey, the Palmyra 
  Sportsmen's Club, and the Hershey Italian Lodge. Viewing will be on Sunday, 
  February 6, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 
  Hershey. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday in 
  his church at 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will follow in Gravel 
  Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
