  Richard D. McConnell 
   
  HARRISBURG Richard D. McConnell, 79, formerly of Lebanon, passed away on 
  Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital. He 
  was born on February 25, 1932, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Elbridge G. 
  McConnell, Jr. and Helen (Brandle) McConnell. Richard was a United States Navy 
  Veteran of the Korean War and was retired from ALCOA. He was a member of the 
  Annville American Legion, an avid golfer and a skilled woodworker. He was the 
  widower of Dolores R. McConnell, and was preceded in death by an infant 
  daughter, Megann McConnell; and a brother, Elbridge G. McConnell, III. 
  Surviving are his daughter, Debra J. Woolever and her husband, Louis A. 
  Woolever, III of Susquehanna Township; his sister, Dorothy Klepp of Fish 
  Creek, Wis.; as well as his granddogs, Skye and Nessie; and several nieces and 
  nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 
  2011, at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Road Harrisburg. 
  Burial will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Viewing will be from 10 
  until 11 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home.
