  MIDDLETOWN Cathryn F. Metzler, 92, formerly of Palmyra, passed away Thursday, 
  October 6, 2011 in the Middletown Home. Born October 19, 1918 in Lebanon, she 
  was a daughter of the late Levi J. and Mamie (Sattazahn) Flory. She and her 
  late husband, Mark D. Metzler who died May 2, 2006, were the owners of the 
  former Metzler's Palm Restaurant in Palmyra and the two Metzler's Restaurants 
  in Elizabethtown. Surviving are her children, Suzanne Carotto of 
  Elizabethtown, Carl Houtz of Lebanon, Abram Metzler of Elizabethtown, Bonnie 
  Metzler of Palmyra, Mary Chris Daub of Williamstown and Michael Metzler of 
  Elizabethtown; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A visitation will 
  be held 2 to 3 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2011 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. 
  Grant St., Palmyra. Private interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, 
  Palmyra.
