  Miriam E. Metzler 
  
  NEWMANSTOWN Miriam E. Metzler, 71, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 
  14, 2011, at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the loving wife of Harry W. 
  Metzler for 47 years, and the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Ruth 
  (Ebersole) Boll. She was a member of Rawlinsville Mennonite Church. Her life's 
  ambition was serving the Lord, her family and others. She enjoyed farming and 
  gardening with her husband and family. She will be deeply missed by those she 
  loved. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are seven children, Wanda and 
  Donald Martin, New Holland, Cheryl and Daniel Geib, Millersville, Michael and 
  Ruth Ann (Balsbaugh) Metzler, Newmanstown, Timothy and Diane (Garman) Metzler, 
  Taneytown, MD, Donna and Randy Bowman, East Earl, Dennis and Irene (Hoover) 
  Metzler, New Providence, and Henry and Christy (Roggie) Metzler, Carthage, 
  N.Y.; 31 grandchildren; and six siblings, Richard and Esther Boll, Orpha 
  (Boll) and Joseph Wadel , Mervin and Pauline Boll, Daniel and Dorothy Boll, 
  Mary Jane (Boll) and Samuel Metzler, Alta Mae (Boll) and Lehman Metzler. 
  Funeral Services will take place at New Danville Mennonite Church on Thursday 
  at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Hess, Rev. John Reeser, and Rev. Randy Bowman 
  officiating. Interment will follow in the Rawlinsville Mennonite Cemetery. The 
  viewings will be held at the church on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8:30 p.m. 
  and again on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements have 
  been entrusted to Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. Quarryville.
