  Emma S. Meyer 
   
  TUCSON, AZ Emma S. Meyer, 93, formerly of Palmyra, died Tuesday, August 23, 
  2011, at the Kendra Kare Assisted Living Home in Tucson. She was the wife of 
  Harry K. Meyer, who died in 1996. Born in Sheridan, on February 9, 1918, she 
  was the daughter of the late John B. and Emma Snyder Bennetch. Emma worked as 
  a technician for the Reading Hospital for 20 years and was a member of the 
  Lebanon Valley Bible Church. Surviving are two sons, David H. Meyer of Craig, 
  Colo., and Joseph S. Meyer of Golden, Colo.; a daughter, Mildred Hetrick of 
  Tucson, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three 
  sisters, Elizabeth Gilmore of Palmyra, Edna Graybill of Dauphin, and Mildred 
  Thierwechter of Palmyra. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha 
  Metzger; three brothers, Lester, David, and Miles Bennetch; and four sisters, 
  Laura Ludwig, Anna May, Katherine Etchberger, and Margaret Graybill. Funeral 
  services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. from the 
  Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will 
  be held in Schaefferstown Cemetery after a luncheon at Hometown Family 
  Restaurant along Rt. 422 in Palmyra. Viewing will be held an hour and a half 
  prior to the service from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
