Hershey Medical Center. Born January 19, 1930, in DuBois, he was a son of the late John W. and Nellie (Jones) Miller. The widower of Barbara A. Miller, who passed away on January 5, 2010, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jorie Borden; sister, Helen Tate; and brother, Jack Miller. He retired from AmeriGas, Harrisburg, was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Palmyra American Legion #72, and an avid golfer. Surviving are his children, Jerry "Brud" Miller, husband of Roxanne Miller of Chambersburg, Missy Miller Yeager, wife of Steve Yeager of Harrisburg and Mindy Miller Berg, wife of Richard Berg of Montclair, New Jersey; grandchildren, Jerry Miller, Aubrey Miller, Jack Borden, Griffen Yeager, Van Berg and Bryce Berg; great- grandchildren, Sawyer Miller and one on the way. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Monty Sayers officiating, at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra preceded by a visitation from 1 p.m. Interment, with military honors, 11 a.m. Friday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
