Jean M. Minnich 

PINE GROVE Jean M. Minnich, 79, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011, in Tremont 
Health & Rehab Center. Born on July 20, 1931, in Pine Grove, she was a daughter 
of the late Francis and Ruth G. Heinbach Krammes. Jean worked as a zipper 
setter for the former Summit Station Mfg. Pine Grove. Jean was a 50 year member 
of Hetzel's Lutheran Church in Pine Grove. She was also a member of the former 
Mary E. Moore Chapter OES 372, now the Cressona Chapter No #367. She was in the 
ILGW Union, Rock Fish & Game, P.G. Senior Citizens, and was a member of the 
former Pine Grove Lioness Club. Preceding her in death were her husband of 50 
years, Norwood E. Minnich, on April 5, 2004; and two brothers, Elwood Krammes 
and Kenneth Krammes. Surviving are a daughter, Dawn, wife of John Sattizahn, 
Jr., a son, Kevin Minnich, one granddaughter, Kristin Maurer, one great-
granddaughter, Kaydence Himmelberger, and a brother, Ray Krammes, all of Pine 
Grove; and two sisters, Raeanna Frank of Pine Grove and Kay Troiani of 
California. Funeral services will be held at H.L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., on 
Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Carl R. Adams officiating. 
There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. with Eastern Star services 
at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Hetzel's Cemetery, 
Pine Grove.
