  Edward J. Mintz 
   
  PALMYRA Edward J. Mintz, 72, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at his 
  home. Born August 2, 1939 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Edward J. and 
  Josephine (Croci) Mintz. He retired in 1995 from Hershey Foods Corporation and 
  in 2001 from Ajalong, Mechanicsburg. A 1957 Hershey High School graduate, he 
  was baptized at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Hershey. He is survived by 
  his loving wife of 51 years, Karolyn K. (Nye) Mintz; children, Kenneth A. 
  husband of Julia Mintz of Annville and Melissa D. wife of Michael Belt of 
  Georgia; sister, Josephine Smith of Maryland; grandchildren, Brandon W. Love, 
  Maria D. Mintz, Kayla A. Mintz, Mackenzie A. Belt, Mallorie J. Belt, Madison 
  P. Belt and Mollie C. Belt. He was preceded in death by sons, Edward J. Mintz, 
  III and William Edward Mintz; grandsons, Stewart and Scott Mintz; and brother, 
  Kenneth Mintz. A visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011 
  at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra. A memorial mass will be 
  celebrated 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 W. Areba 
  Ave., Hershey. Interment will be in Hershey Cemetery.
