  LEBANON Betty J. Montecalvo, 87, died Sunday, October 30, 2011, in ManorCare 
  Health Services, Lebanon. She was the wife of Ralph C. Montecalvo, to whom she 
  was married 59 years. Born in Palmyra on March 7, 1924, she was the daughter 
  of the late Harry W. and Mary Beck Hummel. She worked as a manager and 
  waitress for Sprecher's Diner, Lebanon for 20 years and then took a job with 
  the Lebanon County Workshop. She attended Lebanon High School, enjoyed 
  laughing and having fun, playing bingo, and was a loving wife, mother, and 
  grandmother. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Susan wife 
  of William S. Lingle of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Jill Renee Grubb, and 
  husband, Al and Mark William Lingle and wife, Sarah; four great-grandchildren, 
  Nolen, Alexa, Stella, Brian; two brothers, Robert and wife Eva Hummel of 
  Hummelstown, Harry Hummel of Seabring, Fla.; and a sister, Sara Hermansky of 
  Lebanon. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Reich. Private graveside 
  services will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience 
  of the family. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville was in charge of 
  arrangements.
