Blair Mulvaney, II, 56, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. At the time of his death, Mr. Mulvaney was recovering from third degree burns over much of his body that he sustained when trapped in a garage fire on December 15, 2010. Born in Waynesburg, on October 22, 1955, he was the son of Mary Knoer Mulvaney of Kernersville, N.C., and the late Bernard B. Mulvaney. Blair graduated from Wooster High School, Wooster, Ohio, attended Miami University of Ohio, and served in the United States Army. He was the founder and owner of Mulvaney Transportation Resources, Inc. of Wooster, Ohio, and Oklahoma City, Okla. He was most recently employed by Supreme Mid-Atlantic Corp. in Jonestown for a period of 13 years. Blair was an avid gardener who enjoyed sharing his produce with neighbors and friends. In addition he enjoyed gourmet cooking, landscaping, home renovations, and especially his animals. In addition to his mother, he is survived by five sisters, Maryann Pease of Cape Coral, Fla., Kathleen Brenan of Ashland, Ohio, Patricia Mulvaney of Kernersville, N.C., Theresa Sink of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Coleen Mulvaney of Toledo, Ohio. He was a friend to many and loved by all, especially his mother and five sisters. Memorial services will be held Monday, November 21, at 12:30 p.m. from the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home and Crematory, Rt. 72 and Campmeeting Road, Jonestown. Interment with full military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, E. Hanover Twp. A public visitation will be held a half hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home and Crematory, Jonestown, is in charge of the arrangements.
