Myer, 91, of the Brethren Village, died Friday, October 14, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of late Glenn Myer and late Ray Ziegler who died in 1976. She was born in Millbach on April 29, 1920, a daughter of the late Rufus and Emma Frantz Phillipy. She was a supervisor for Richland Knitting Mill. She resided in Lake Region Village, Haines City, Fla., for several years and returned to Pennsylvania in 2005. She was a member of Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren, Quarryville, and was a 50 year member of Conrad Weiser Chapter #449 Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed knitting and quilting. She is survived by daughters, Rita Keener wife of Elton Keener of Richland, Gail Ebling wife of Barry Ebling of Mt. Sydney, Va., Nancy Garito of Boca Raton, Fla.; son, Loren Ziegler husband of Monica Ziegler of Myerstown; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Fern Hitz of Lebanon, Orpha Schoener wife of Paul Schoener of Massachusetts; brothers, Peter Phillipy husband of Eleanor Phillipy of Pittsburgh, and Curtis Phillipy husband of Fern Phillipy of Bethel. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy, and two grandsons. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Richland Church of Brethren, 215 S. Race St., Richland. Interment will be made in the Richland Cemetery. Rohland Funeral Home of Lebanon is handling her arrangements.
