  Robert E. Nye Sr. 
  
  PALMYRA Robert E. Nye, Sr., 62, passed away with his family by his side, on 
  Friday, June 24, 2011, at M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born on Monday, 
  May 30, 1949 in Palmyra, to the late Marlin and Mary (Miller) Nye. He was 
  happily married to Betty J. (Craumer) Nye since November of 2000.
  In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Tami LaGrelius and 
  husband James of Palmyra, Tisch Nye of Nashville, Tenn.; a son, Robert E. Nye, 
  Jr. and wife Chaunda of Grantville; three stepdaughters, Cynthia Gray of 
  Warren, Donna Gray of Old Town, Fla., Diane Beltz of Lotsburg, Va.; ten 
  grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Mildred Pankake and 
  husband Earl of Palmyra; and a sister-in-law, Amy Nye of Palmyra. He was 
  predeceased by siblings, Edna Funk, Dorothy Mount, and Samuel Nye.
  Services have been entrusted to Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 
  Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, and will be private at the convenience of the 
  family.  Family requests memorials be made in his honor to PinnacleHealth 
  Hospice, 2645 N. 3rd. St., Suite 300, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
