M. shabodeho@aol.com November 5, 2011, 10:26 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on October 30, 2011 James F. Paugh CLEONA James F. Paugh, 68, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at his residence. He was the husband of Sally Ann Zimmerman Paugh. They would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in April, 2012. James was born in Lebanon on January 9, 1943. He was a son of Catherine Wolf Paugh Lazorcik, wife of the late George Lazorcik and the late James L. Paugh. James was an accountant at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, retiring after 22 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War having served on the USS Kitty Hawk. James volunteered countless hours at both the Good Samaritan Hospital and the Volunteers in Medicine Free Health Clinic in Lebanon. Along with his wife, James was a recent recipient of the SAGE Award for excellence in volunteerism. He loved to donate his time and encouraged others to do so as well. James was on the Cleona Boro Sewer Authority for many years and was a member of the Lebanon VFW and the Knights of Columbus. As a blood donor, James proudly donated over 10 gallons in his lifetime. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with his grandchildren, working in the yard, and was an avid Phillies fan. James was a member of St. Paul The Apostle Church, Annville. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, James R., husband of Elizabeth Paugh, and Peter S., husband of Megan Paugh; three brothers, Joseph, husband of Claire Paugh, George Lazorcik and Gregory, companion of Donna Constanzi; five sisters, Tricia, wife of Roger Downs, Jane, wife of Edward "Chip" Nields, Kathleen, wife of James Wells, Elizabeth Lazorcik, and Mary, wife of Chris Hossler; three grandchildren, Lauren Cavalier; Jacob Paugh, Elyse Paugh, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass Wednesday at 10 a.m. from St. Paul The Apostle Church, 125 S. Spruce St., Annville. Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors. Viewing Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, and Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.
