  LEBANON Eleanor Katheryn (Adams) Peiffer, 71, passed away peacefully on 
  Monday, October, 10, 2011, at Fox Subacute in Mechanicsburg. She was born 
  Saturday, October 5, 1940, in Lebanon, to the late Herman J. and Katheryn E. 
  (Walmer) Adams. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Alvin L. Peiffer on 
  Saturday, October 16, 2004. She retired from M.S. Hershey Medical Center where 
  she worked as a patient care assistant. She was a loving mother, grandmother 
  and friend who will be missed dearly. She is survived by a daughter, Lori A. 
  Ayala and husband, Manuel of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Adam, Tracy, Douglas 
  and Abigail; two great-grandchildren, Hailie and Alania; seven brothers, John 
  of Mich., Herman of Ky., Lester of Lebanon, Ronald of Lancaster, Samuel of 
  Jonestown, Robert of Grantville and Glenn of Jonestown; two sisters, Margaret 
  Miller of Annville and Cynthia Gettle of Lebanon. She was predeceased by two 
  brothers, James H., Sr. and Henry; a sister, Dorothy Weller; and an infant 
  brother, Kenneth. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at 
  10 a.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., 
  Palmyra, PA 17078, with Rev. Daniel Hall officiating. Family and friends are 
  invited for viewing from 9 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow 
  in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
