Pifath, 88, died on Thursday, December 8, 2011, at Spang Crest Manor. She was born on Sunday, October 7, 1923, to the late Wayne Houtz and Agnes Houtz nee Reedy in Myerstown. She was a member of United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd. She worked with Hershey Chocolatiers, Werner Lambert in Lititz, Kaaks Dept. Store, Lebanon School District cafeteria, Boscovs, and the VA Hospital. Lucille enjoyed camping, traveling to Alaska and Canada, and collecting antiques. She was a Florida snowbird for 17 years, a member of Order of the Eastern Star, and a Girl Scout Leader. Surviving are husband, Stephen N. Pifath of Lebanon; son, Kenneth, spouse of Cathy Oxenreider of Lebanon; grandchildren, Adam, spouse of Amanda Oxenreider, and Erin, spouse of Drazan Mlivoncic; great-grandchildren, Aden Oxenreider and Mia Mlivoncic; and sisters, Lorraine Diamond and Gladys Killian. She was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Oxenreider; and brothers, Curtis Houtz, Gerald Houtz, and Kermit Houtz. Viewing will be on Monday, December 12, 2011, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Zion "Goshert's" U.C.C. Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
