M. shabodeho@aol.com June 19, 2011, 10:03 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on June 17, 2011 Lee M. Quarry HERSHEY Lee M. Quarry, 83, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at the Palmyra Nursing Home. He was the husband of Lucille V. "Pinkie" Bender Quarry. Born in Philadelphia, on March 11, 1928, he was the son of the late Leo and Margaret Roesch Quarry. Lee was a U.S. Veteran serving in the Coast Guard. He was an officer worker for the Ford Motor Co. Lee was a member of St Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Hershey and the Knights of Columbus. He volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House, St. Joan of Arc Cafeteria, and the Hershey Medical Center Chaplain's office. Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a son, Kevin Quarry of New York; two daughters, Karen Shanda of Hatboro and Maureen wife of Christopher Betz of N. Wales; a sister, Joan wife of Stephen Bauer of Telford; five grandchildren, Shawn, Adrienne, Jodi, Lori, and David; seven great- grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Donna Warren of Robesonia; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Shultz. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey 17033. Entombment will be in Grand View Memorial Park Mausoleum, Annville. There will be no viewing or visitation. Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory are in charge of the arrangements.
