  MT AETNA Verna E. Raihl, 83, of died Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Walter Raihl, Jr. to whom she 
  was married 55 years on December 3, 2010. Born in Bethel Twp., on August 3, 
  1927, she was the daughter of the late Wayne Yingst and Lillian (Burkhart) 
  Schnoke. She had been employed for many years at the Publix Shirt Co., 
  Myerstown. Enjoying being with her family, she was a member of St. John's 
  Church, Mt. Aetna, and the Rescue Fire Co., Mt. Aetna. In addition to her 
  husband, she is survived by daughters, Jean, wife of Jerry Umbenhauer of Mt. 
  Aetna, and Linda, wife of Harold Blatt of Myerstown; son, Jay, husband of 
  Beverly Raihl of Bernville; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 
  sisters, Marion, wife of Jackson Stehr, Sr. of Bernville, and Helen DeHart of 
  Myerstown; brothers, Russell, husband of Barbara Grumbine of Wyomissing, and 
  Allen, husband of Irene Grumbine of Schaefferstown; and several nieces and 
  nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Clayton Schnoke; and 
  brothers, Stanley and Warren "Lefty" Grumbine. Funeral services will be held 
  Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. 
  Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing Monday 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday at 10 a.m. 
  Interment at St. John's Church Cemetery, Mt. Aetna.
