Reager, Sr. (Unc), passed away at the Lebanon VA Medical Center Tuesday morning, August 10, 2011. Harlan was born in Ravine, on September 16, 1914. He was a retired self-employed electronic technician who specialized in organ repairs. He was a proud WWII veteran who served in the China-Burma-India theatre as a Tech Sergeant. Harlan was also a self-taught musician, able to play the guitar, piano, and other musical instruments. Although he was declared legally blind several years ago, he enjoyed playing the electronic organ he built from a kit years ago. Harlan was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the Beagle Club, as well as the Royal Mens' Club. He enjoyed entertaining his friends and family by singing and playing music. He also enjoyed listening to the Philadelphia Phillies on his shortwave radio. He was the last living sibling of his sister, Grace, and brothers, William and Jere. Harlan and his wife, Mamie, would have observed their 70th wedding anniversary on November 8, 2011. They raised five children, Harlan, Jr. (Rick) of Lebanon, Kenneth (wife Suzie) of Brooksville, Fla., Shirlene (husband Larry Leininger) of Myerstown, Carol (husband James Snyder) of Lebanon, and Lonnie (wife Haydee) of Lebanon. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Family and friends are invited to attend the interment on Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery on Route 72 in Ebenezer.
