  Edward B. Reilly Sr. 
  
  YORK Edward B. Reilly, Sr., 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on 
  Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Minnie L. 
  (Rumpf) Reilly with whom he celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on 
  January 30, 2011. Ed was born October 29, 1932 in Lebanon, and was the only 
  child of the late Edward B. and Anna E. (Bowman) Reilly. He was retired after 
  many years of service with the Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He served his 
  country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. In addition 
  to his wife, Ed is survived by four children, son, Edward B. Reilly, Jr., and 
  wife, Judy of Massachusetts, son, Richard R. Reilly and wife, Melissa of York, 
  daughter, Suzanne M. Reilly and husband, Tod Treat of Illinois, and son, Robert 
  P. Reilly and partner, Cassandra Storm of York; and six grandchildren, Meghan 
  E. Reilly (16), Aidan E. Reilly-Treat (12), Sydney A. Reilly-Treat (11), Roan 
  R. Reilly (5), Owen W. Reilly-Treat (5), and Ryker K. Reilly (1). In his youth, 
  Ed was a drag car racer and remained an avid racing fan for the remainder of 
  his life. He enjoyed debating politics with his children and all those he 
  encountered. He had a strong appreciation of music and passed many of these and 
  other passions to his family. Ed was a loving and devoted husband, father, and 
  grandfather and will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him. After 
  cremation, the service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
