  James G. Ritter 
   
  PALMYRA James G. Ritter, 69, died Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the Palmyra 
  Nursing Home. Born August 25, 1941 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late 
  James G. and Rose V. (Chronister) Ritter. He retired as a chemical technician 
  from the former AMP and was past president of the Hershey Optimist Club. A 1961 
  graduate of William Penn High School, he was leader of the school Dance Band. 
  Surviving are his loving and caring wife Helen M. (Valent) Ritter with whom he 
  would have celebrated 48 years of marriage on June 1; daughters Lisa L. Ritter 
  of Palmyra and Susan M., wife of Eric Bonsall of Lewisberry; grandson Benjamin 
  Bonsall; sister Sharon, wife of Kenneth Painter of Felton. A memorial service 
  will be held 12 noon Wednesday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra, 
  preceded by a visitation from 11:30 a.m.
