  Kenneth G. Roof Sr. 
    
  LEBANON Kenneth G. Roof Sr., 80, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011, in 
  Manor Care. He was the husband of Janet L. (Arnold) Roof. They celebrated 
  their 52nd wedding anniversary in April 2011. Kenneth was born on June 6, 
  1931, a son of the late William and Alice (Achenbach) Roof. Kenneth was a 
  retired employee of UGI Gas Co. He was an U.S. Army Veteran having served 
  during the Korean War. He was a member of The Church of St. Cecilia. He was a 
  member of the Rescue Fire Co., Keystone Gunning Club, the Lebanon Valley Coin 
  Club, and enjoyed bowling and fishing. Surviving, in addition to his wife 
  Janet, are seven children, Jean wife of Michael Davis, Kenneth Jr. husband of 
  Susan Roof, Debra Santucci, David Roof Sr., Michael Roof, Steven husband of 
  Joanne Roof and Fred Roof; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two 
  brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was preceded in 
  death by a grandson; Sgt. Brett D. Swank; and three brothers, Richard, 
  Stanley, and Bill. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 3, 2011, at 
  11:30 a.m. from Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. 126 S. 9th St. Lebanon. Interment 
  with full military honors will be on Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing 
  hours will be held Monday morning 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
