  Mildred E. Tobias-Ruth 
   
  RICHLAND Mildred E. Tobias-Ruth, 93, died Thursday, November 3, 2011, of 
  natural causes at the Reading Hospital. Her husband, Paul A. Tobias, died in 
  1966. Born in Mohnton, she was the daughter of the late William M. and 
  Margaret A. (Bitler) Wenger. She was the owner of the former Bernville Inn 
  from 1952 until 1977 and last worked at Vanity Fair, Wyomissing, for 11 years, 
  retiring in 1989. She was a member of Elias U.C.C., Newmanstown, and was a 
  former Den Mother with the Bernville Cub Scouts. She is survived by a son, 
  David A. Tobias of Bernville; a daughter, Joy E. Nagle of Greenwood, Del.; a 
  sister, Barbara A. Plucker of Denver, Pa.; six grandchildren; 14 great-
  grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a 
  brother, Ray A. Wenger. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lamm & 
  Witman Funeral Home, Inc., Wernersville, with the Rev. Johnnie Lengel 
  officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends are 
  invited to call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
