  MYERSTOWN Grace L. Schaeffer, 96, died Friday, May 6, 2011 at StoneRidge-Towne 
  Centre, Myerstown. She was the wife of Ralph A. Schaeffer who died September 
  24, 1969. Born in Jackson Twp., Lebanon County, she was the daughter of the 
  late William S. and Minnie M. Spitler Hunsicker. She was a 1931 graduate of 
  Lebanon Business College and had been employed by Whitmoyer Laboratories, 
  Myerstown for 20 years, retiring in 1976. After her retirement, she worked in 
  the deli stand of Martin's Farm Market for 12 years. She was a member of 
  Myerstown U.C.C.; was active for many years in several senior citizen groups, 
  she loved traveling, playing card games, bingo, vegetable gardening and 
  spending time with her family. She is survived by daughters, Betty wife of 
  James Rittle of Myerstown and Shirley wife of James Davis of Hummelstown; sons, 
  Charles husband of Phyllis Schaeffer of Elizabethtown and Paul husband of Tracy 
  Schaeffer of Hagerstown, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one 
  great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Helen Rabold, Kathryn Blouch and Nancy wife 
  of Jon Swonger, all of Myerstown; brother, Mark Hunsicker of Myerstown; several 
  nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Hawbaker in 
  2006; sister, Vara Houtz and brothers, Wayne and Herman Hunsicker. A memorial 
  service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. from Myerstown U.C.C. 
  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown 
  has been entrusted with the arrangements.
