  LIVERPOOL, NY Robert J. Schirato, 81, passed away on Sunday May 1, 2011, at the 
  Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He was predeceased by his wife, Maryann, in 1992. 
  Born in Lebanon, Robert was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Era and retired 
  from Wittenberg Distributors of Syracuse, where he was employed for over 20 
  years. He was an avid golfer and card player who also enjoyed life, traveling, 
  and was never at a loss for words. Robert is survived by his three daughters, 
  Karen Schirato Manning of Charleston, S.C., JoAnne Marco of Liverpool, N.Y., 
  and Gail SchiratoRoberts of Dallas, Texas; sister, Matilda Bohr of Shrewsbury, 
  Mass.; granddaughter, Jennifer Marco of Liverpool, N.Y.; grandson, Garrett 
  Roberts of Dallas, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 
  held on Saturday, May 7, 2011, from the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 
  3541 Rt. 31, Baldwinsville, N.Y. Burial was in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of 
  flowers, contributions in Robert's memory may be made to the American Diabetes 
  Association or to Alzheimer's Association,
