  Allen G. Schneck Sr. 
  
  COUDERSPORT Allen G. Schneck Sr., 90, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, 
  in Lebanon V.A. Hospital. He was the husband of the late Ada Sechrist Schneck. 
  He was the son of the late Gordon E. and Amanda E. Glore Schneck. Mr. Schneck 
  was retired from Hershey Alpine Nursing Home, where he worked as Head Cook. He 
  served his country in the Army during WWII. He was awarded the WWII Victory 
  Medal, American Campaign Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. He was an avid Phillies 
  fan, NASCAR fan, and Bill Elliott fan, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his 
  cabin in Potter County. Surviving are three sons, Ronald G. Schneck of 
  Coudersport, Allen G. Schneck Jr., husband of Cheryl of Myerstown, and Gary R. 
  Schneck of Myerstown; two stepdaughters, Cindy, wife of Kenny Bryan of Lock 
  Haven, and Linda, wife of Tom George of Pottsville; nine grandchildren; 14 
  great-grandchildren; three brothers, Martin D., husband of Joyce Schneck of 
  Lebanon, Lester A. Schneck of Lickdale, and Russell Schneck of Lebanon; a 
  sister, Grace Umbenhauer; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in 
  death by his wife; four brothers, Stanley, Harvey, Earl, and Glenn Schneck; and 
  a grandson, Michael Allen Schneck. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 
  February 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, Inc., 508 Cumberland 
  St., Lebanon 17042 with the Rev. Richard F. Luciotti of St. Marks U.C.C. 
  officiating. A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service 
  in the funeral home. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 
  11:30 a.m. with full military honors.
