  Leonard H. "Pap" Schrefer 
   
  LEBANON Leonard H. "Pap" Schrefer, 81, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011, in 
  his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Carrie 
  Wentz Schrefer with whom he celebrated 58 years of marriage on September 29th. 
  He was born on November 30, 1929, in Rome, N.Y., son of the late Harry and Ida 
  Douglas Schrefer. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and 
  the National Guard from 1953-1962. He retired in 1989 from the U.S. Postal 
  Service after 31 years of service. Leonard was a member of the Assumption of 
  the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Lebanon, lifetime member of R Field & Stream 
  and the Lebanon VFW. He also was a little league coach for Rohland's for 15 
  years. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter-in-law, Donna M. 
  Lynch, Jonestown; grandchildren, Angela wife of Lee Scheetz, Lebanon; Leonard 
  Lynch and wife Karen, Northampton, Mass.; Kimberly Lynch, Ludlow, Mass.; great-
  granddaughters, Katelyn and Katrina Scheetz; Alicia and Taylor Lynch; sister, 
  Charlotte Lauther, Lawton, Okla.; brother, Harry Schrefer, Rome, N.Y.; and 
  several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Walter G. 
  Lynch; and his brother, Foster Schrefer. Funeral service will be held on 
  Monday at 10 a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, 
  where a viewing will begin at 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment 
  will follow in Ebenezer Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery.
