  Dorothy M. Schwartz 
  
  LEBANON Dorothy M. Schwartz, 80, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, 
  August 20, 2011. Born on December 26, 1930, in Lebanon, she was a daughter of 
  the late Albert and Catherine Drum Baum. Dorothy was a 1948 graduate of 
  Lebanon High School. She met her husband of 58 years, Allen L. Schwartz, at 
  Fort Indiantown Gap while working as an office clerk. She was a homemaker and 
  later was employed at the former Christian Light Bookstore in Lebanon. Dorothy 
  faithfully attended St. Stephen's United Church of Christ in Lebanon where she 
  was a member of the Womens Guild. She loved reading, doing crossword puzzles 
  and cross stitching. Preceding her in death was a son, David A. Schwartz; a 
  sister, Helen Irvin; and a brother, Robert Baum. Surviving, in addition to her 
  husband, are a daughter, Janet E. wife of Daniel Light of Cornwall; two sons, 
  Thomas C. and wife Starla Schwartz of Sammomish, Washington, Daniel A. 
  Schwartz of Albuquerque, N.M.; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Karissa, Dominique, 
  and Sarah; and two sisters, Marian wife of Karl Peters of Lebanon and Carole 
  wife of Richard Goodwin of Orlando, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 
  St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, 1100 Hunters Chase Lane, Lebanon, 
  Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ronald L. Salem officiating. Interment will 
  follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Pine Grove. Friends will be 
  received, Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's UCC Church.  The H. L. 
  Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, is in charge of arrangements.
