  STOUCHSBURG Margaret J. "Peggy" Schwear, 70, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at 
  her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Mark 
  L. Schwear, to whom she would have been married 51 years on June 11th. Born in 
  Lebanon, on October 13, 1940, she was the daughter of Julia Hockley Smaltz of 
  Stouchsburg and the late Chester M. Smaltz. She was a 1958 graduate of 
  Myerstown High School and had owned Peggy's Custom Drapes, Stouchsburg for 40 
  years, retiring in 2006 and also owned Village Dollhouses & Miniatures, 
  Stouchsburg. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown and 
  organized "Peggy's Girl's", a group of women cancer survivors who meet for 
  lunch once a month in Myerstown. In addition to her husband and mother, she is 
  survived by daughters, Letticia wife of Kenneth Reich of Myerstown and Wendy 
  wife of Scott Gilbert of Myerstown; sons, Lon husband of Paula Schwear of 
  Redding, Connecticut and Timothy husband of Heather Schwear of Myerstown; 
  grandchildren, Travis Reich, Samantha Schwear, Maxwell Schwear, Abbey Blouch; 
  great-grandson, Brady Reich; sisters Kay wife of David Lessig of Reading and 
  Kim Knapp of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 
  Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Friedens Lutheran Church, 301 W. 
  Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing will be Wednesday 10 a.m. at the church. 
  Interment at Friedens Memorial Park, Myerstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
  contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Grose Funeral Home, 
  Myerstown is entrusted with the arrangements.
