(Moyer) Seiverling, 87, formerly of Bethel, died Monday, June 6, 2011, at Stone Ridge Towne Center, Myerstown. She was the wife of Carl Seiverling who died January 1, 1993. Born in Robesonia, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Priscilla (Ressler) Moyer. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Bethel. She was a member of the Berks County Farm Women's Group, the president of the Ladies Auxiliary for Bethel Community Fire Company in the late 1970's- Early 1980's. She retired in 1980 last working at Esther's and Trainer's Midway Diner. She was also self-employed for many years as a home consultant for Dutch Maid Clothing and Herbel Life. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband on numerous bus trips and enjoyed the company and companionship of her friends. She is survived by two sons, Scotty L. Seiverling husband of Dawn, Bethel, and Barry L. Seiverling husband of Faye, Mt. Zion; two grandchildren, Adam Seiverling, Stationed in Japan, and Amber wife of Sheldon Martin, Bethel; and a great-granddaughter, Alivia Martin. She was preceded in death by four brothers, George, LeRoy, Lester, and Benjamin Moyer. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg, with the Rev. Doug O'Brien officiating. Friends are invited to call from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday, and 10 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery, Robesonia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
