  ANNVILLE Grace W. Shank, 86, formerly of Elizabethtown and Bainbridge, passed 
  away on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Countryside Christian Community in Annville. 
  Born in Bellaire, Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and 
  Edna (Shireman) Witmer. She was the wife of Raymond G. Shank who died in 2006. 
  A homemaker and foster parent, she and her husband had four children of their 
  own, adopted five and fostered 25 children throught their lives. Grace also 
  enjoyed embroidery, loved to quilt, and made quilts for her entire family. She 
  is survived by her children, Jane, wife of Robert Hoover, Lancaster; Georgia 
  Shank (Dr. Marcus Feak), Toronto, Ontario.; Fred, husband of Lyn Shank, 
  Bainbridge; Marcia, wife of Bruce Cotterman, Bainbridge; Joel, husband of 
  Stephanie Shank, Elizabethtown; Sue, wife of Edward Dolan, Cleona; Brenda 
  Caraballo, New Cumberland; Barbara Kuhn, Elizabethtown and Stacey Shank, New 
  Cumberland; 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lester, 
  husband of Shirley Witmer; and a sister, Verna Earp. In addition to her 
  husband, Grace was preceded in death by her son, Tony, in 1997. A Funeral 
  Service will be held on Tuesday in the Chapel at Countryside Christian 
  Community, 200 Bellann Court, Annville, at 10 a.m. Friends may call on Monday 
  at Miller/Sekely Funeral Services, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, from 6:30 
  to 8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday at the chapel from 9 a.m. until the time of 
  service. Interment will take place in Shenks Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
