  PALMYRA Marlin E. Shenk, 73, of Chestnut Hill Road, died Monday, October 10, 
  2011, in Select Specialty Hospital, Harrisburg. Born October 16, 1937, in 
  Annville, he was a son of the late Paul E. and Violet E. (Becker) Shenk, and 
  the widower of Nancy J. Shenk, who died February 18, 2005. A retired diesel 
  mechanic, he was a member of the VFW and American Legion, enjoyed bowling, 
  shooting pool, and being with friends and family. Surviving are his sons, 
  Christopher, husband of Erin Shenk of Annville, Todd, husband of Sandy Shenk 
  of Harrisburg, Michael Shenk, and Jeffrey, husband of Melinda Shenk of 
  Annville; sisters, Betty, wife of Olan Smith of Sunbury, and Jean, wife of 
  Kater Williams of Alabama; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will 
  be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra, with 
  interment in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Viewings 6 to 8 p.m. 
  Wednesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, all at the funeral home.
