  CAMPBELLTOWN Janet E. Shirey, 78, formerly of Palmyra, died Thursday, March 31, 
  2011, in Twin Oaks Nursing Center, Campbelltown. Born October 14, 1932, in 
  Palmyra, she was a daughter of the late Mark M. and Jennie (Bomgardner) 
  McCurdy. She was a secretary for C. V. Shirey, Palmyra, and later C & M 
  Company, Campbelltown, and a 1950 graduate of Palmyra High School. She was a 
  member of Sherks Meeting House, Annville. The widow of Robert D. Shirey, who 
  died on January 22, 2006, she was also preceded in death by brothers, Richard 
  and Robert McCurdy. Surviving are her sons, Thomas M., husband of Kendra Shirey 
  of Palmyra, and Timothy A., husband of Julie Shirey of Harrisburg. A memorial 
  service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Buse Funeral Home, 
  145 N. Grant St., Palmyra, preceded by visitation from 9:30 a.m. Interment will 
  be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
