M. shabodeho@aol.com August 14, 2011, 7:33 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on August 13, 2011 Debra Ann Shirk ANNVILLE Debra Ann Shirk, 55, of 17 Oliver Park Drive, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011, in the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Robert E. Shirk. Born in Shirley, Mass., on January 26, 1956, she was the daughter of the late George H., Jr. and Marian M. Blantz Bucks. She was employed in Central Processing for over 25 years at the Hershey Medical Center. Deb graduated in 1973 from Lebanon High School. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Lebanon, and the International Association of Healthcare. She served as a Den Mother and loved all children. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Andrew R. Shirk; three sisters, Jane Hyland of Lebanon, Barbara, wife of Larry Waltman of Lebanon, and Rita Duprat-Waldo, wife of Bobby Waldo of New Braunfels, Texas; a grandson, Acelin Andrew Shirk, with whom she lived; six nephews; one niece; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, James H. Bucks. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, at 11 a.m. from St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 22 S. Sixth St., Lebanon. Interment will be in Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery, North Lebanon Twp. Viewing will be held 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, and on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Contributions may be made to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, in her memory.
